I've spent the last 14 years in tourism and proptech, building technology that helps people make bookings and helps accommodation providers manage their guests. I've seen firsthand how powerful the right tools can be when they actually solve a real problem.
But here's the thing: the problem I kept running into wasn't at work. It was at home.
As a busy mum and business owner, I'd find myself in the same cycle every time a weekend away or half term approached. The WhatsApp group chat pinging with "where shall we go?" and "has anyone looked into...?" The 15 browser tabs I'd never get back to. The places I'd saved on Instagram months ago that I couldn't find when I actually needed them. The mental juggle of what's on locally, what the weather's doing, what works for everyone's budget.
I wanted to maximise the precious time I had with family and friends, not spend it drowning in research. I wanted inspiration without the faff.
So I started building planory. A place where you can have a conversation about what you're after, and actually get somewhere. Weather-smart suggestions. Real opening times. Local events. All pulled together into a plan you can share with the people you're going with.
No more scattered bookmarks. No more "I'll look into it later." Just the good stuff, when you need it.
There's a better way to plan. I'm building it.
